In January 2021 ICM was commissioned to treat a large number of mainly textile, but also wooden, objects from Villa Oasis in Marrakech.

Villa Oasis is situated in the Jardin Majorelle, a garden of 4000 square meters, and one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Musée Yves Saint Laurent borders on the garden.

Mainly two insect pest species had attacked the artworks and antiques in the building: clothes moths and carpet beetle (Anthrenus flavipes). Below two photos of dead insects after the treatment.

On the African continent this was the first project ever where humidity regulated warm air was used to treat heritage objects against insect infestations
